ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — The National Water Commission is advising that its operations team are still conducting pipeline work along the 33-inch transmission main that runs along Mandela Highway into the Corporate Area.
The activities were originally slated to be completed by 8:00 am today, but there have been onsite challenges that have significantly slowed the progress of the team, said NWC.
The company is projecting that the remaining activities will be completed on or before 4:00 pm, Sunday, February 3, 2019 and is seeking the continued patience of its customers who will be affected by this delay.
Areas to be affected include Spanish Town Road, Duhaney Park, Cooreville Gardens, Marcus Garvey Drive, and sections of downtown Kingston.
