Q: What if a passenger dies in an accident?
A: Your BCIC policy will cover the legal liability for death or injury to a passenger, pedestrian, cyclist or passenger in another car that you hit.
Q: Do you reimburse the loss of vehicle in the case that your vehicle is written off in an accident?
A: Yes, we have a special deal where we sell rental benefits and we have an
arrangement with one of the rental car agencies. So, if you buy this benefit you can have this rental for one to three weeks, depending on what you select when you bought the policy. You don’t need to have a deposit for the rental. BCIC covers that!
Q: What is the charge for a young licence?
A: We don’t have an additional premium depending on how long you’ve had the licence. But, we do have differences depending on the age of the driver.
Q: If you’re travelling on the grace period of your insurance and you get in an accident, are you still covered?
A: There is no grace period! You can come in and arrange the financing. With premium financing, you can divide the payments into nine monthly payments and you would simply have to pay the first month. – BCIC EasyPay
BCIC offers home insurance for those who own homes as well as those who rent. During the hurricane season we protect you, your home and your contents from hurricanes, floods, windstorms, earthquakes, fire etc. We also cover collisions relating to the house. Even if you rent your home, you can insure your contents.
Q: What if tenants damage my home?
A: Our homeowner policy protects those who come unto your premises and anything that happens to your employees, such as your helper.
